and for those of you who would like an introduction to various approaches to algorithmic music composition, I recommend this book. Sometimes I wish he was a bit more gradual in introducing each topic, especially as I would like it to be within the reach of 1st year undergrads, but what the hell, if you put in the time you will reap the benefits !
