More info to come, but for now, make sure you visit this blog on mondays as I shall always be adding something here, better still just subscribe to the blog, then you will be updated directly to your email ! I will be letting you know about a new virtual learning environment called Moodle that we have setup, but more of that in due course. For now, I want you to come to the wednesday lesson with all the info you can possibly find on ‘acousmatic music’, ‘tape music’ and ‘electroacoustic music’.
I suggest you use the Grove online which you can access from the digital library if you have a library card and pin number. Just go to the LIBRARY main website and take it from there, under under “Login and find Library e-resources in the Digital Library “, your subject is ‘Music and Performing Arts’ –some of you actually need me to tell you this !! to the rest: sorry !
Being able to access Grove online may be a challenge for some already as you probably have not even visited the digital library. In any case, there is always a first time and if you want to avoid being branded a total looser, then do it !!!! (also as your 3rd year approaches fast and you need to do be familiar with research tools, you will be happy you did this.
Also, what is the photo above about? Who is in it? and what does it show?
