This should be very interesting, the lineup includes David Ryan who is a Reader in our faculty as well as Scanner (Robin Rimbaud) and Christian Marclay. I will be going there for the day, it is on the 10th of May, the saturday after term ends.

best,

Electronic Music Concert Opportunity !

Filed under: CMT interesting stuff ! —— julioCMT @ 8:01 am

From THE BOSS !

Dear all,

Next week’s Diffusion Concert (Monday, 14th April, 12-1pm, Recital Hall)
is set to include items by current students and staff. Whilst the
concert is part of the delivery of Fundamentals of Electronic Music, all
current CMT students are encouraged to put forward requests to have
their pieces played.

Music will be diffused on an multi-speaker system (8 speakers), so this
is a great opportunity to hear your work in glorious surround sound!

All expression of interest should be sent directly to Paul Jackson
(paul.jackson@anglia.ac.uk) giving the following information:

1. Title of Piece
2. Length of piece
3. Format (stereo or multi channel)
4. Brief programme note

You may also attach an audio file (if less than 10Mb) or provide a link
to one. Pieces must be made available only on CD (CD audio quality) if
selected for the concert.

First come, first served, so please get your requests to me as soon as
possible.

Best wishes

Paul
