More on the Stanford Laptop Orchestra

Filed under: CMT interesting stuff ! —— julioCMT @ 10:13 pm

Hi guys,

I enjoyed meeting with you today and look forward to our own explorations with the laptop ensemble(s) we are forming. There is a lunchtime concert in the last week of term that is for the students to participate, shall I get us involved in that? it would be good to have a performance goal apart from the assessments, and one that is actually related to them!

Remember to start on your blogs this week with an introductory post about today’s session and what you hope to achieve this semester in this module.

Bestest!

Julio

Definitely! I absolutely cannot believe the amazing opportunities that are arising so early on in this course. Very exciting stuff Julio. It was a great session yesterday, and also exciting to be a part of such a creative community.

    Hi Julio!

Ok I’m a little late on the comment.. had some trouble with this site last week but I’m starting to get the hang of it.. now I’m going to write my posts for yesterday’s session and last week’s session (I wonder if I can change the publishing date on it so it looks like i posted it right on time.. haha is that cheating or what:))
Anyway.. Laptop musicianship looks incredible i can’t wait to learn more, and I would definitely be up for performing in the lunchtime concert!

    Cheerio
