Recommended Internet Resources

This blog is in itself a dynamic internet resource. It will grow as the semester progresses with my contributions as well as yours. Consult it often, subscribe to it and you will get updates straight to your preferred email address. A good resource in basic terminology and music theory drills can be found here
Recommended Listening
There is no ‘recommended listening’ as such for this module. Rather the subject matter consists of listening critically to musical material contributed by the students themselves as well as their own original music.

Other Resources

You should set some time aside to learn how to login to the University Digital Library there is a wealth of materials there including online journals, e-books and the catalogue for our CD and DVD collections, both of which are constantly growing.

We have amplifiers and percussion instruments. If you visit the Media Centre in the Ruskin Building you can also find video editing suites you can book, as well as being able to borrow video recorders. Portable hard disk recorders can be borrowed from our technician Kevin McCracken, opposite Hel040.
